VEP has been a long-time advocate for Student Veterans, ensuring that they are guaranteed all that has been promised to them. However, our work hits a bottleneck if Veterans are unaware or unable to enjoy their benefits. County Veteran Service Officers (CVSOs) are doing the essential groundwork to ensure Veteran enrollment and participation in these programs, but they have been limited by a lack of funding.
H.R. 4601 provides the much-needed funding mechanisms for CVSOs to adequately perform their mission and We’re proud to give our support to this bill.
