One of the biggest reasons many enlist in the Military and serve our country is for the benefits they’re promised. Education, housing, health insurance, etc. To take away or restrict their benefits after they’ve signed, is a disgrace to their service and Policymakers should be ashamed of their efforts to take away or remove these benefits and/or a Veteran’s right to choose how to use them.
New regulations, and changes to existing ones like the 85/15 rule, are threatening to do just that and we cannot let that happen. Policymakers in Washington (including some who have never served themselves) need to know how these changes don’t help, but harm Veterans, and they need to know that the American people are not ok with that.
