We’re traveling around the country working with Student Veterans to understand their experience navigating education and what it’s like using the GI Bill for the education benefits they’ve earned. This is John’s experience:
“There’s something about the military, you know? It’s a brotherhood, that kind that you rarely find outside of serving; we’re a tight-knit group, we have the same jokes, we get each other’s jokes. When you transition out of the military there are some things that, what we’ve been through, Veterans can help each other, mainly, with our injuries and struggles, they’re able to help us with that.”
