We’ve traveled all over the country talking with Student Veterans to learn more about their experience navigating civilian life and using their GI Bill for the education benefits they’ve already earned through their service. This is Michael’s take:
“So, there wasn’t anybody to really tell me that if you want to go to college, you have to reverse-engineer. You start with the school you want and then work back down to the TA office and it’ll work so much smoother. I had to find out the rough way, starting at Tuition Assistance and getting misguided and redoing credits and wasting time.” Michael Northcut
