We love it when Servicemembers are heard!
As you know, we work tirelessly to try and amplify the voice of Veterans and it always feels great when we get through. Suicide is an epidemic that plagues Servicemembers and the members of the Reserves and National Guard are not spared from its reach. Over the last 5 years, over 400 Servicemembers were lost to suicide in the Guard alone. Today, Senator Tester and Senator Moran heard our calls and introduced a bill that will extend the support and care that our Soldiers and Veterans need to Reservists and the National Guard. We fully support The CARE for Reservists Act of 2019 and we call on the Senate to follow Senator Tester’s lead and give our men and women who fight for our country the resources they need to fight for themselves.
